Leashed dogs (6ft) southeast of the lot toward Coast Camp. Also open: Kehoe Beach north of the trail, and the Great Beach from North Beach to a mile south of South Beach. From March to September, plover nesting closes parts of Kehoe and North Beach. Every other trail in the seashore is closed to dogs.
A long sand spit between Drakes Bay and an estuary, one of three Point Reyes beaches open to dogs.
