Yes — dogs are welcome
Leashed dogs welcome on carriage roads and most trails. Not permitted on the swimming beaches or in Lake Minnewaska itself.
Cliffs, waterfalls and a sky-blue lake on top of the Shawangunk Ridge. The carriage roads are wide, graded and endless - the reason to bring a dog here rather than scramble.
