Dogs are not allowed on any trail at Rocky Mountain National Park, and not in the tundra, meadows or backcountry. This applies year-round and there are no trail exceptions. Leashed dogs (6 ft leash or shorter) are welcome along established roads, in parking areas, and in established campgrounds and picnic areas - so a scenic drive with stops is doable, a hike is not. Dogs are not permitted in visitor centres, and can't be left unattended in a vehicle or tied to anything. Trained service animals are permitted throughout; emotional-support animals are not.
