Leashed dogs (6ft) on more than 480 miles of trail. A short list of trails is closed to them, including Old Rag, Dark Hollow Falls, Limberlost, Stony Man and Bearfence — the full list is on the park's pet page.

A hundred and five miles of Skyline Drive along the Blue Ridge, and the most dog-friendly big national park in the country — over 480 of its 500 miles of trail are open to them.
